Hi sister, i have been following your music from the days of secular but i heared you last in the movie DANCE HALL QUEEN. Again this year 2010, i came across your CD in a music shop. I bought it, played it at home and discovered it's gospel. i was marvelled. i am a Nigerian and i live in Nigeria but i can speak Jamaican patois fluently. i have so many reggae songs written in secular. I gave my life to CHRIST and tried to turn those songs to gospel but i kept asking myself 'CAN GOSPEL BE DONE IN REGGAE ESPECIALLY RAGGA?WILL THE MESSAGE BE PASSED? These questions i was battling with till i listened to your album 'COME'. It inspired me. May God continue to bless you! i so much love Jamaica. one i will be there.

Hi Chevelle! Wow! I was on a 9hour road trip this weekend and your CD "Joy" was played and OMGoodness child! I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to hear your sounds and energy. I couldnt help but play it over and over. Even the children requested a replay. Bfore now I had never heard of you but I was anxious to return home and inquire on the "net". "2005?" girl what have you been up to?...you have to blow it up! I will soon purchase both CD's and hopefully you will have some new work b4 I wear them out. God Bless. Muah!

I was going to add that I love your take on ''How great is our God'' and ''Shout to the Lord'' ,with the jamaican spin to it for both especially ''how great is our God''....my o my! You were out of this world at the just concluded London Festival of Life and also at Jesus House....the anointing of God on your life is so palpable. Your simplicity and humility is endearing. I mean I have never seen any guest minister worship without their shoes, it shows a level of reverence and symbolic of standing on Holy Ground. I have to be honest, I did not know that you came to Christ a long time ago. I heard your song "blessed" and goosebumps came all over my body. I recognized your voice from the song "Dancehall Queen but I wasn't sure if it was you.
I just thank God that somebody with such a hit song was still able to walk away from idolatry and start all over on the other side of the line.

On Sunday while driving to church my husband invited me to listen to a CD he received as a gift. OHMIWORD! it was absolutely brilliant and I couldn't stop smiling and tapping the steering wheel. Your music is definitely in a league of its own and such an inspiration. Needless to say that since then that's the only CD playing in my car and I have no intention of pressing eject any time soon.
